Why Should I Make Sure To Update My Season Dates?
Keeping your season dates up-to-date allows boaters to view accurate availability for your location and reduces booking conflicts. When your season dates are set correctly, boaters can only book within your operational timeframe.
How to update your Season start and end dates
Navigate to My Account > Settings
From the main menu, navigate to the My Account menu in the upper right corner of your dashboard. Select Settings from the drop down to be taken to your General Settings tab.
Find "Seasons" at the top of your General Settings tab.
Here, you’ll see your current seasonal availability set to either Open Year Round or Open Seasonally.
Open Year Round Will allow boaters to request a reservation for any point during the year.
Open Seasonally Lets you to enter a defined season start and end date. Boaters will not be able to submit a request outside of the set dates.
Set Opening and Closing Dates
If using a defined season, select Open Seasonally and enter the information needed. These dates can be updated at any point in the future, so don't worry if you think these dates are subject to change.
Accept Reservations is your Opening Booking Day - The first date available for boaters to start requesting their reservations for the season. If you do not wish to allow advanced reservations, set the Accept Reservations date as the same date you choose for Season Start.
Simply select Open Year Round if no season dates are needed.
Save Changes
Once you’ve updated the dates, double-check for accuracy, and then click Set Season Dates.
Your changes will be reflected immediately, updating availability on Dockwa for boaters browsing your listing.
Important Tips
Regular Updates: Update your season dates anytime there’s a change in your operation schedule. This keeps your availability accurate.
Confirm Availability: After updating, check your listing as boaters see it to ensure the dates are correctly reflected.
