All cancellation policies listed on Dockwa are marina specific. There is no "overarching" Dockwa Cancellation policy used at all marinas. Dockwa adopts the marina's cancellation policies to which you made your reservation request. This is to ensure the business the marina runs through Dockwa is exactly consistent with the operation on-site. Each marina listing and reservation on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy within their profile (see article linked below). Boaters may cancel their reservations by going to their TRIPS section and clicking 'Cancel' on the appropriate reservation.
Cancellation Info:
A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button within the reservation request or when they call, email or send a Dockwa Message to the Marina Manager or Dockwa Support Team to notify them of cancellation. Make sure that you have your Dockwa Reservation ID Number available when calling Dockwa Support or the Marina Manager to cancel a reservation.
After cancelling a reservation the marina will get a refund request notification. Based on the marina specific policy, the marina manager will issue all refunds through the Dockwa system. You will get an refund receipt email from Dockwa once the marina manger has processed your refund.
If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Dockwa within 24 hours of check-in.
Dockwa will mediate when necessary in Extenuating Circumstances. Dockwa has the final say in all disputes.
