You may see a message on your credit card statement that says your charge from Dockwa (DWA) is recurring.

Stripe (stripe.com), the payment processing platform used by Dockwa, has confirmed that this is expected behavior, even for one-time transactions. The "recurring" flag does not necessarily indicate a subscription to a recurring billing plan, only that the card was saved for future charges. Stripe explains this is necessary to save payment information for future use without the need for re-entering your CVC code each time.
