Correcting Billing Errors Due to Incorrect Boat Length (LOA) on Reservations

Quick steps to update a boater's Length Overall (LOA) and correct the billing on their reservation.

Updating Boat Length and Reservation Billing in Dockwa

  1. Locate the Reservation:

    • Go to "Reservations."

    • Search by Reservation number, boater name, or email.

  2. Access Boater's Profile:

    • Click the boater's name (in blue) in the reservation.

  3. Edit Boat Information:

    • In the boater's profile, select the "Boats" tab.

    • Click the pencil icon next to the relevant boat.

    • Modify the boat length (LOA) and click "Save."

  4. Update the Reservation:

    • Return to the reservation.

    • Click "EDIT" at the top.

    • Re-select the departure date to refresh the LOA.

    • Click "Update Reservation."

  5. Confirm Updated Billing:

    • The revised total and next scheduled payment will reflect the changes.


By following these steps, you can efficiently correct any billing discrepancies due to incorrect boat length inputs in your reservations.
