Dockwa+ Renewal Overview
Your Dockwa+ membership is designed to make time on the water easier and more affordable - from dockage and fuel savings to planning tools that keep your trips running smoothly.
As your renewal date approaches, we want to ensure you know what to expect. Below you’ll find details on when and how you’ll be notified before you’re charged, how to update your payment method, and what to do if you decide to make changes to your membership.
Get Notified Before You’re Charged
We’ll send you a renewal reminder email 30 days before your Dockwa+ subscription auto-renews.
This reminder includes:
Your upcoming renewal date
The card on file that will be charged
A link to update your payment method or manage your subscription
This email ensures you have plenty of time to make any changes before you're billed.
Once your renewal has processed, you'll receive a confirmation email with your receipt, the date your renewal was processed, and the date of your next renewal. Keep an eye on your inbox for this update!
Update Your Payment Method
You can review and update the card linked to your Dockwa+ subscription any time via a web browser:
Visit your Dockwa Account Settings
Under “Memberships,” select the dropdown menu to update your payment method
Choose an existing card or add a new one
If your card fails at renewal, we’ll retry the payment two more times. If both attempts fail, your Dockwa+ subscription will be cancelled immediately.
To avoid any interruptions, we recommend updating your payment method before your renewal date.
⚠️ Note: Updating your payment method can only be done using a web browser - this feature is not available in the Dockwa mobile app.
Canceling Your Subscription
If you’d like to cancel your Dockwa+ subscription:
Go to your Membership Settings
Select "Cancel Subscription"
Your membership will remain active through the end of your current billing period
No refunds are provided for early cancellation
If you cancel your subscription before your renewal date, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle. Any Dockwa+ discounts already applied to existing reservations will remain in place; canceling your membership won't affect bookings you've already made.
