What is Dockwa Pay?
You can now scan a QR code from a boaters phone or tablet and pay instantly through their Dockwa account. Payment flows straight into Dockwa POS. Customer info saves automatically to your CRM. Your team never leaves the dock.
How to set up a Dockwa Pay Sale:
First, create the sale on your device as normal.
Then, select Dockwa Pay from the list of available options.
Next, select to either scan the customer's Dockwa Pay QR code or manually input their Dockwa Pay code (more on accessing the customer's Dockwa Pay code below).
Please note if this is the first time using Dockwa Pay on your device, then you will need to enable camera access before you can scan the code
How does the customer find their Dockwa Pay Codes?
The customer will first need to tap the QR code icon in the upper right corner of the Dockwa App homepage to set up their Dockwa Pay preferences.
Once Dockwa Pay has been configured, the customer will then be presented with this new screen.
To complete payment, either scan the QR code with your Point of Sale device, or enter the code manually.
Once the code has been scanned or entered the customer's preferred card will be automatically charged—that's all there is to it!
