Reservations
The timing of charges depends on your reservation details and the marina's billing preferences.
With Autopay enabled: Your card is automatically charged on the due date shown in your invoice.
Without Autopay: The marina must manually process your payment, or you can pay using the "Pay Now" button in your invoice email.
Marina-specific timing:
Some marinas require full payment upfront at the time of booking.
Others may charge at check-in or check-out.
Certain marinas require a deposit (such as a flat fee or percentage of the total) at confirmation, with the balance due later.
For long-term stays, some marinas may offer monthly installment plans.
Note: You may still receive payment reminders even with Autopay enabled - this is normal as the system sends these before processing payments.
Contracts
Your billing schedule depends on how the marina sets up your contract. Some marinas set up monthly billing (recurring), while some have a fixed number of installments.
To find the billing schedule and next payment date, view your specific contract details in your Dockwa account under Trips and select the Contracts tab here.
If you are unsure about your contract's billing schedule, contact the marina directly by sending them a message through your Dockwa contract.
