Connection Guide For Sage Intacct

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up an integration user on your Sage Intacct instance so that you can successfully connect to Dockwa and automatically sync your financial data between the two systems.


Setup a Web Services User (in Sage)

  1. In Sage, log in as an administrator

  2. Go to Company -> Admin -> Web Services users

  3. Click Add to create a new user

  4. Enter the user info and contract details

  5. Go to the Permissions section and assign the Admin Role to the new user.

  6. Once complete, click Save

    1. Here you will be promoted to reenter your password to confirm the role. Alternatively, you can create a new role with limited permissions and use that instead.


Find your Company ID (in Sage)

  1. Go to Company -> Setup -> Company

  2. Copy the Company ID


Connect Sage to Dockwa (in Dockwa)

  1. Log in to Dockwa.com as a user with an admin or finance role.

  2. In the navigation bar, click Integrations

  3. In the Setup tab, click Connect to Sage Intacct

  4. Enter the Company ID, User ID and password

  5. Set the Entity

  6. Save

Congratulations! Your Sage instance is now connected to Dockwa.
