This guide will walk you through the process of setting up an integration user on your Sage Intacct instance so that you can successfully connect to Dockwa and automatically sync your financial data between the two systems.
Setup a Web Services User
In Sage, log in as an administrator
Go to Company -> Admin -> Web Services users
Click Add to create a new user
Enter the details. Click Save
5. Go to the Roles Information tab and assign Admin Role to the new user. You will be promoted to enter your password to confirm the role. Alternatively, you can create a new role with limited permissions and use that instead.
Authorize your Sender ID on Sage Intacct Web Services
Go to Company -> Setup -> Company
Go to the Security tab
Scroll down to Web Services authorizations and click Add
Enter your Sender ID and click Save.
The Sender ID (and password) are your API gateway credentials. If you do not have this information, please contact your Sage Intacct account manager.
Find your Company ID
Go to Company -> Company
Copy the Company ID
Connect to Dockwa
In Dockwa, log in as an administrator or user with a finance role.
In the navigation bar, click Accounting
In the Setup tab, click Connect to Sage Intacct
Enter the Company ID, User ID and password and Sender ID and password
Congratulations! Your Sage instance is now connected to Dockwa.
