Dockwa now allows boaters to pay invoices at their convenience, as long as the marina has enabled this feature. Boaters can access this functionality in two ways:
This feature gives you greater control over your payments, making it easy to stay on top of your financial commitments.
Via the Boater Account Page
The boater logs into their Dockwa account.
They navigate to the Trips section and either select the Reservations or Contracts tab
They locate the reservation or contract associated with the invoice they want to pay
The boater will see a Pay Now button next to the invoice.
They can choose to:
Use a saved payment method (such as a card or ACH).
Add a new payment method.
Payment options are filtered based on marina requirements (e.g., ACH-only marinas will only show bank account options).
After selecting the payment method, they confirm the payment.
Once the payment is processed, the boater will then receive a payment receipt.
Via Payment Reminder Emails
You’ll receive email reminders for upcoming payments or past-due invoices.
Each reminder will include a Pay Now option, allowing you to pay the invoice immediately.
