What does a charge on Dockwa mean?

Understand additional fees, utilities, and amenities applied by marinas to your reservation

When you book through Dockwa, your base rate is set by the marina and may include nightly dockage or moorage. However, some marinas also charge additional fees for utilities or amenities. These fees are determined and managed directly by each marina, not by Dockwa.

Common Additional Charges

In addition to dockage/moorage, you may see extra charges such as:

  • Electric service – either selected by the boater during booking or added by the marina afterwards if the service was used.

  • Resort fees

  • Water service

  • Fuel

  • Supplies - Anchor, lines, ice, etc.

  • Other amenities and services – such as cleaning services, pump-out, key deposits, etc.

Why Charges Exist

Charges are designed for convenience so you don’t have to constantly pull out your wallet while on the dock.

Charges can be applied on the day of the service or added as part of your next scheduled bill.

Questions About a Specific Charge
